The eternal beauty who is aging preciously, Sushmita Sen, is being dearly missed on the silver screen. She’s been wowing us with her off-screen appearances but her fans are dying (figuratively, #TedMosbyStyle) to see her on screen. If you are one us (fangirls of this timeless beauty) then I got some really exciting piece of news for you.
Sushmita might make a comeback on the big screen this year! Yessss! She was quoted saying,
“I have been saying this for quite a long time… When I will be back on big screen, the audiences should be happy. They should say, ‘Now that’s called a comeback and we really like her’.”
Hinting at the possibility of it happening this year itself, she said,
“So, fingers crossed. This year, we should make that happen.”
Just this year, we saw our former Miss Universe as a judge on the Miss Universe pageant held in Manila. About that she said,
 “It was a fantastic experience. After 23 years, it was feeling of going back to the roots. Being a judge of Miss Universe pageant was an exemplary experience and I am very proud of the fact that they had an Indian judge.”
Sushmita’s last outing was in the Tollywood film Nirbaak (2015) directed by Srijit Mukherji, which got rave reviews. In Bollywood, she was last seen in ‘No Problem’ and ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’ in the year 2010.
So for her comeback in 2017, we can’t wait!
