In December 2015, Salman Khan was acquitted by the High Court for his hit and run case.
This was after he was convicted by a lower court as guilty.
Fast forward to 25th July 2016, that is today, Salman Khan has been acquitted in the Black Buck and Chinkara shooting cases by the Rajasthan High Court.
This is after a lower court had found him guilty and actually sentenced him to 5 years of jail.
Salman Khan went hunting in the forests of Rajasthan while shooting for the movie Hum Saath Saath Hain in 1998.
Chinkaras and Black Bucks are endangered and hence, protected species in India.
As of now, Salman Khan is a completely free man, although the Maharastra Government has moved the Supreme court in the drunk driving case. But, if we are familiar with the Indian Judiciary, that process will take years and years too.
And, just like that “Sallu Bhai” is a free man, after running over 5 people, and shooting two endangered species dead.
One thing’s for certain – Salman Khan has the best Lady Luck backing him up. And his lawyer certainly is a magician!
Here is how Twitter reacted to it –
"Maare hewda mein naache mor" not anymore because Salman might kill it.
