India is a land of diversified view. As much I would like to say ‘diversity’, my thoughts shudder at the recent instances of religious fundamentalism/hatred and communal tensions. No, it doesn’t stop me from hoping for a better day, but the ground reality is plagued with problems that we dread! Both inside and outside India.
Recently the water under the bridge hit the ceiling when former Indian navy officer, Kulbhushan Jadhav was sentenced to death by the Pakistani military court on the alleged acts of espionage and India had to fight the case at International Court of Justice (ICJ) to ensure justice to the officer. Good news is, the Jadhav execution has stayed but the rifts have just begun.Â
To mark the occasion, cricketer Mohammad Kaif took to Twitter to express his feelings about the same.Â
Congratulations India.
Thanks to the International Court of Justice , justice has prevailed.#KulbhushanJadhav— Mohammad Kaif (@MohammadKaif) May 18, 2017
But of course, it didn’t go down well with a particular ‘nationalist’!Â
Please remove Mohammad from your name first !

However, Kaif is not one to sit silently and sulk. In fact, he had the best comeback to the hate at hand.Â
Wow ! If I support India's victory , I should remove Mohammad. I am proud of my name. Aamir means "full of life" , you need to get one. https://t.co/eJrAqNioA2
