“It’s Not Fair To Make Comparisons,” Says A Blunt Deepika On Being Pitted Against Priyanka

Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra are two of the finest actresses Bollywood has ever seen. They both have shown their finesse as brilliant performers in the movies they have done and are now showing their class globally through their Hollywood projects.

Blame it on the media or their fans, but Deepika and Priyanka are constantly being pitted against each other recently. With DP’s ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’ running successfully all over and PeeCee’s ‘Baywatch‘ all set to arrive this summer, drawing comparisons between them is only natural. The two actresses, however, do not like the idea.

In a recent interview, Deepika Padukone slammed people for comparing her with Priyanka Chopra for their Hollywood projects and international appearances.

“It’s not fair to make comparisons. Let me just say everyone has a different path and journey.”

Even Priyanka Chopra said in the recent episode of ‘Koffee With Karan’ that she is glad that more and more Indian actors are getting chances in Hollywood.

“My idea was to make it concrete. I am proud of all the actors including Deepika and Sonam going Hollywood.”

In another interview, Deepika Padukone also cleared the air on her ‘Vin Diesel’s babies’ remark that caused an outrage over social media.  

When asked if she had any regrets about the statement she made, Deepika had a fitting reply ready.

“No regrets. I don’t have anything more to say about that. Fact is, I received tons of messages from people all over saying how much they have enjoyed the show.”

Looks like both Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra have nothing but love and respect for each other.
