The moment India was celebrating its 70th Independence Day in Karnataka’s Madikeri town, something really strange and embarrassing got caught on camera.
Former president of Madikeri Congress unit and current Chairman of the Silk Board TP, Ramesh, was caught trying to hold MLC Veena Achaiah’s hand in public, while they were sitting on the stage.
When Achaiah pushed Ramesh’s hand away, he was smiling even then.

But ask him about it and he denies them flatly. Rubbishing the rumours and the whole episode, Ramesh told Times of India,
“We are from the same region and I consider Veena as my sister. The video is being shared to defame me.”
But people weren’t convinced and had a lot to say about it.
