A few days ago, the internet witnessed a brief Instagram shutdown. However, netizens didn’t completely lose their marbles because they had alternatives like Facebook and Twitter for social media interaction. However, as YouTube still towers over sites like Vimeo, Dailymotion or Twitch, seeing it breakdown gave the internet a panic attack.
According to Times of India, the desktop version of YouTube passed out for a brief moment. And since millions of users, casual viewers and creators, are hooked into it, they started outraging all at once.

Some users from around the world also stated that the mobile-based app of YouTube wasn’t functioning. Others complained that they were getting the annoying as hell 503 network error message.
However, some thought that there was no use complaining and instead passed their time by cracking jokes about YouTube and YouTubers.
