People Are Searching For This Mystery Couple In This Viral Stunning Proposal Photo

Take a look at this beautiful view of Taft Point, a cliff in California’s Yosemite National Park. Quite the perfect place to go down on one knee and propose to the love of your life, right?

Well, that’s what the couple in the above photograph did on October 6th! In fact, they were one amongst several other couples who were either there to take some pre or post wedding shots, or simply couple photos for memories.

Photographer Matthew Dippel was also present on site that day, on the other side of this stunning view, waiting for to click a friend’s picture. But when he saw this couple’s proposal, he couldn’t help but click a picture of the beautiful moment! And I daresay, he did a fantastic job of it!

Now, imagine if you were this couple, wouldn’t you want a copy of this picture?

With this thought in mind, Dippel decided to seek Detective Twitter’s help in finding the couple in this stunning Yosemite proposal!

Of course, the ever ready to help Twitterari decided to jump in and do their magic.

But not before gushing eloquently over the beautiful photo and its talented photographer!

Despite the tweet going viral, there was sadly no luck. Dippel posted an update the very next day.

And a disappointed but still eagerly looking bunch decided to keep up the efforts.

Of course, the funny peeps couldn’t restrain themselves from cracking the whole ‘proposal atop a cliff fail” jokes!

We all need some comic relief to keep as motivated, don’t we?

Unfortunately, even after two whole days of looking, and some near hits and misses, the Yosemite couple was still not found.

However, while this entire exercise was going on, there were also those who suggested that this whole thing was a staged gimmick by the photographer to gain more traction on social media.

In response to the insinuations that the photographer probably already knew the couple and was faking it, Dippel issued a counter statement.

Sadly, amidst all this, the couple wasn’t yet found! Considering Twitter has a steller track record in these cases, like the Eiffel Tower kiss guy or the airplane couple, it looks like the couple might be found sooner or later.

Till then, we can all just admire the beauty of it all!
