Break-ups are worse, and no words in the English dictionary could sum up the melancholia that looms over broken hearts. But what’s worse is the aftermath of a relationship gone sour, the things that follow and dealing with the emotions.
While some deal with a break-up sensibly and in a mature manner, there are times where one gets to see the crazy side of the ex. And that is scary af.
Discussing the same in a thread, Redditors shared the worst things their exes did after the relationship ended. And the answers are making us feeling really unsettled.
1. The one who had a suicide pre-planned.
2. This ex was evil incarnate.
“My ex took all the naked pictures he took of me and cropped my face out of them. He then made a fake facebook account and catfished my brother and sent him my nudes. After a few weeks of doing this he sent me screenshots of the conversation and then sent him the uncropped pictures and sent me screenshots of that. It was a very uneasy situation for both me and my brother.”
3. He was like Arya Stark. He had a hit-list.
“My ex husband followed me around for a few days after I kicked him out. Showed up at my work to talk to me. Called me tons of times a day. Drove by the tattooshop I hung out at. Then drops off the map. (Picked up on unrelated charges) Months later he starts dating another woman after we are legally divorced. When she tries to break up with him and move on, he murders her. Cuts up her body and burns part of it in her car and randomly scattered the rest in the woods. Fortunately he was arrested days later because a friend who he had recruited to help him dispose of her body contacted the police. He is serving 35 years in prison now.
EDIT: I forgot to mention, at his trial it came out that he had a list (actual paper list) with names of people who wronged him who he was going after next. Guess who was #1.”
4. That Wiccan ex!
“I had a girlfriend who was a self-proclaimed practitioner of Wicca and she tried to lay a curse on me after I broke up with her. Spoiler alert: I didn’t die.”
5. A dirty ploy that didn’t go quite as planned.
“She mailed everything of mine ot my parents house … and made sure each box had something embarrassing on the top, including a Tenga fliphole, multiple porn movies, and a large butt plug.
Thankfully, my parents don’t open my stuff, plan ruined, girl.”

“Snuck into my dorm room and stole the xmas gifts she got me. Then lied when I confronted her about it.”

“She swallowed a bunch of needles and pins that got lodged in the throat after I broke up with her, causing severe injuries.
I broke up with her because she had turned unbelievably possessive. She would sit in her car and wait to see who leaves with me for lunch. If it ended up being a female colleague then she would just happen to ‘ walk by’ me, ‘Oh what a pleasant surprise’. If I was alone then I would get a call from her as soon as I would place the order for food. She would delete text threads from females to me if she happened to to get few moments with my phone, (saw a security cam footage of it when I was at work) Just your average stalker in a relationship, I guess. I went to the ER to see if she was OK, her dad was there too. Dude threatens to get cops to sort me out. I just show him the screeshots of his daughters texts to me, where she admits to a lot of shit that I mentioned above and more and admits to stalking me because she ‘thought’ I needed protecting from ‘Sluts’. Angry Dad breaks down and I sit there for an hour till some friends of him reached the hospital. The friend knew his daughter had issues and told me that she had gotten in similar situations a few years ago too.
I was about to move to another job in a different city so I just felt lucky to not have to deal with her shit anymore.”
