Harsha Bhogle Asks Virat If RCB’s Win Was For Anushka, He Wins Hearts With His Reply

Quite expectedly, the team has been mercilessly trolled on social media platforms for their rough run of form. Even Anushka Sharma, who has been present on the stands frequently to lend her support to her husband, could not escape the brutal slamming.

However, May 1st saw Anushka Sharma step into the 30th year of her life. Coincidentally, Virat Kohli and his men took on the defending champions Mumbai Indians at the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru on the very same day. And guess what? Kohli who has always lived up to the expectations of a perfect husband proved it once again and in style.

The Indian skipper turned the tables brilliantly to script a win for his team and give his wife the ideal gift on the special occasion.

He had started the day with a beautiful wish for Anushka where he termed her as the most honest person he has ever met. He made sure the day ended on a good note as well.

The sweetest moment of the day came when Virat Kohli went on to dedicate the win to his wife during the presentation ceremony, speaking to Harsha Bhogle. When Bhogle asked whether the victory was for Anushka, Kohli said,

“My wife is here and it’s her birthday. This was a little gift for her. It was very important to achieve this two points in front of her.”
