Last week, actress Anushka Sharma slammed a photographer who invaded her privacy after she requested them not to. And now that she and Virat Kohli have welcomed their baby girl, they have made their move for their newborn’s privacy as well.
Photographer Viral Bhayani shared an unboxing video of the luxury gift hampers sent by Virushka to several photographers requesting them not to click their daughter’s photo. Bhayani posted the video on Instagram stating in the caption that the couple’s request has been conveyed to his entire team. Check it out:
The carefully-wrapped goodies inside them included scented candles, flavored dry fruits, chocolates, and other mithai from Bombay Sweet Shop, HT reports.
A personalized letter written in both English and Hindi was also attached. It read, “Hi, Thank you for all the love that you have given us all these years. We are happy to celebrate this momentous occasion with you. As parents, we have a simple request to make to you. We want to protect the privacy of our child and we need your help and support.”
The note continued, “While we will always ensure that you get all the content you need featuring us, we would request you to kindly not take or carry any content that has our child. We know that you will understand where we are coming from and we thank you for the same.”
