Vir Das Delivered A Fitting Reply To All The ‘Bhakts’ Threatening Our Right To Question

In our country, our fundamental right to freedom of speech has been under threat. Certain factions in society have launched onslaught of threats against people who have an opinion different from their own. We as a people have become intolerant of anyone whose opinions or arguments may make us question our own.

Vir Das, in his latest ‘Potcast’ touches upon this threat to our freedom of speech. He addresses the ‘bhakts’ and the ‘trolls’ who tend to have a sense of entitlement just because they’re supporters of a party in power. He urges society to be unafraid to have an opinion, unafraid to voice that opinion and unafraid to ask a question.
