Sachin Tendulkar and Vinod Kambli have come a long way since their Shivaji Park days.
Not just their careers, but their friendship too has seen several ups and down.
They began their innings together with a legendary 664-run partnership during a school match in 1988. Kambli was considered to be an excellent player, even better than Tendulkar at that time.

But an eventual fallout led both of them on different paths: Sachin Tendulkar was on a journey to become a cricketing legend while Vinod Kambli’s career began slipping.
Eventually, his outburst on a reality tv show about his deteriorating career and friendship with Sachin became his downfall.
However, their broken friendship has been on a steady mend, with both parties forgiving and forgetting bygones.
Only a few months ago, Sachin and shared a picture of his old cricketing buddies, including Ajit Agarkar and Vinod Kambli, with a heart-warming caption.
And now, in yet another display of their “friends for life” love for each, Vinod Kambli has done something so special that its winning hearts over the internet!
A picture circulating on Twitter shows Vinod Kambli bowing down to touch his friend Sachin Tendulkar’s feet during a presentation ceremony for T20 Mumbai!
Vinod Kambli is the mentor for T20 Mumbai’s Shivaji Park Lions Team, which defeated the SoBo Supersonics to enter into the finals, which they lost to the Triumph Knights Mumbai North East.
The gesture was captured during the post-match presentation ceremony.
