Vicky Kaushal & Neighbors Welcome 11-YO Covid-19 Patient To Their Building After Recovery

Just a couple of days ago, The Times of India reported how a housing complex in Mumbai that is home to several Bollywood stars including Vicky Kaushal, Rajkummar Rao and Chitrangada Singh was partially sealed by BMC after an 11-year-old girl was tested positive for coronavirus. The residents of the complex were strictly instructed to stay at home and take the necessary precautions.

Well, looking at Vicky Kaushal’s social media posts, it does seem like he is practising the mandatory home-quarantine.

However, the good news is that the girl has recovered from the virus and is back home, reports Hindustan Times. Taking to social media, ‘Uri’ star Vicky Kaushal announced the little girl’s ghar wapsi.

He shared a video in which the residents of the housing complex welcomed the young warrior who just won the battle with COVID-19. They applauded and cheered as the girl entered the society with her family.

In the wake of several incidents when doctors treating coronavirus patients were harassed by their neighbours fearing they might spread the infection, this video just warms my heart. Thanks to Vicky and his neighbours for setting up such a positive example.
