But it seems like that wasn’t just an isolated incident. A Reddit user on r/BollyBlindsNGossip shared snippets from a TEDx talk that Urvashi Rautela gave. Alongside those snippets, the user also shared screenshots from articles related to TEDx.

It is evident that several elements of Urvashi’s speech were lifted from those articles.

Here’s an example:

Read the first sentence here. It’s the same.

Here’s another example.

Notice the last statement. It’s the same, word by word.

“You have the choice to live passionately on your own terms.”

In the post shared by the Reddit user, there were multiple such examples. Have a look at another one:

Literally the headline of this article:

“Urvashi’s entire TedX talk is plagiarized from two articles about ted talks.. she’s literally reading out articles word for word.. how did the audience sit through this?” the Reddit user wrote.

Apparently, she just read out from an article titled ’20 Best Ted Talks Of All Time’.

Seeing the reactions under this Reddit post, it’s clear that people online weren’t surprised at all. While some claimed that TEDx isn’t as big a deal as Ted Talk, others said that nothing better can be expected out of Urvashi Rautela.

Plagiarism is not cool, people.
