According to a report by News18, a woman in Uttar Pradesh’s Ambedkarnagar fled with four young men recently. She stayed at the house of a relative of one of the men.
When her family finally found her, they were determined to lodge a complaint against the four men. However, the village panchayat intervened and held a meeting to resolve the issue. And they came up with a rather bizarre solution!
When the girl was asked to choose one of the four guys to get married to, she was confused and couldn’t decide. None of the men wanted to get married to her as well. So the panchayat held a lucky draw!
They asked the four men to write their names on a piece of paper and put it inside a bowl for the lucky draw. One piece of paper was drawn out and the girl had to get married to the guy whose name was on it.
