Under the demonetisation phase, one thing that every Indian is doing these days is standing in the queues at Banks and ATMs. Even PM Modi’s mother was spotted at a bank exchanging old currency notes.
Amid the money matters, celebrities are asking their fans to stay calm for India’s greater good. So did Virender Sehwag by giving martyr Hanumanthappa’s example.
Here’ what he said:
Shaheed Hanumanthappa waited 6days,35ft under snow,in-45°C,in hope of being rescued.
Surely,we can wait few hrs in line to rescue Our Nation pic.twitter.com/TKvpsZ3KCH— Virender Sehwag (@virendersehwag) November 14, 2016
The cricketer-turned-commentator-turned-Twitter-celebrity’s tweet didn’t go down well with Tweeple and they royally trolled him.
