Taking to Reddit, a user shared how he is worried about his girlfriend who complained that people keep staring at her in public (on the bus, when she walks) and make her feel uncomfortable.

He further added that staring at a female passing by is a general behavior in a lot of Indian males. Hence, he ended up buying her a pepper spray for her too. Seeking advice, he asked people online, ‘What can she do?’

Tell her to be confident and don’t respond.

Seriously, people. The stares and the piercing glares make everyone uncomfortable. Nothing can be practically done other than just changing our mentality and stopping this harassment. Also, the glorification of street harassment in Bollywood movies also needs to be censored.
