Fashion trends are one thing which are in a constant state of flux, that is, they keep changing, but not all fashion trends get the opportunity to be received by consumers with open arms and some are downright bizarre.
The most common as well as casual thing you can wear to any event are jeans. Some might argue that it was the most economical garment until pre-ripped jeans started retailing for obnoxious amounts of money, making people like us, who are susceptible to peer-pressure, spend cash on them when all we needed was a pair of scissors.
Well, I am very prone to day-dreaming so when the rips of our jeans started getting bigger, I could not help but think whether a day will come when there will be nothing but seams on the jeans. Turns out a Tokyo-based designer had the same revelation!
Designer Thibaut revealed a new design at the Amazon Fashion Week Tokyo and let’s just say they require a lot of guts to pull off, but if you can pull them off they might be the one for you.
Behold the latest experiment in jeans dubbed as ‘Thong Jeans’, because they pretty much resemble the otherwise sexy lingerie.
People could not believe the weird rendition of the beloved garment and had some pretty interesting takes on it, if the designer or retailers ever chose to make it a thing.
