Kanpur Teacher Hits Student With A Duster, Fracturing His Hand Because He Was Talking In Class

It wasn’t long ago when we got together to discuss the plight of the Indian education system and the ways in which it is culpable of the challenges a student comes across in his/her formative years.

Be it the age-old syllabi or the yardstick (read exams) that is used to weigh the student’s potential, the education circuit needs ramifications now, more than ever. Why you ask? Because not just the administration, but even the internal circuit of teachers have defunct examples who are only crippling the situation more!

In another addition to the long list of shocking incidents, a teacher in Kanpur mercilessly hit a student with a wooden duster just because he spoke in the class. 

The horror happened at the Stepping Stones School. The teacher was reportedly angry with the student as he was found chatting with his classmates during the class hour.

In fact, she hit him so badly that he ended up with a fractured hand! 

The kid even confessed that he had intimated the teacher about an injury in his hand but the teacher, in a fit of rage, broke his hand. 

He also claimed that this is not the first time the teacher has gone out of her to punish him.

The Uttar Pradesh Police have begun a probe into the incident.
