7 Times Sunny Leone Put Haters In Their Place With Pure Class, Wit And Humour!

sunny

Sunny Leone, I recall reading, is the most googled celebrity. Before you make any assumptions about my insinuations, let me stop you right there. I’m not here to talk about her much-talked past as an adult star but her glorious present of an independent woman trying to make it big in an industry like Bollywood.

While her journey is one for the books, the ride has been even spectacular. Yes, there were hate-mongers who tried their best to spread filth, but it was Sunny’s personality that has outdone all the negativity.

Talking about the same, here are 7 instances when Sunny shut down haters for good.

1. When she had no f*cks to give about Rakhi Sawant and her ‘reject’ theory!

Rakhi Sawant, in one of her interviews, called Sunny Leone a rejected talent. To which Sunny replied, “These people will never get to me, and nothing will stop me from working my butt off to where I want in life.”

2. When she gave it back to KRK for attributing her for the infamous rape tweet.

He tweeted, “Ye lo… Sunny Leone says — Rape is not a Crime, It’s just a Surprise Sex.” Sunny gave it back by filing a FIR and saying, “I don’t care what people think about me. Call me every name in the book, but don’t associate me with a criminal act.”

3. The time she didn’t bow down to the level of TV journalist, Bhupendra Chaubey!

Sunny’s reply to Bhupendra’s sexist and misogynistic questions was, “I am not the kind of person who would walk away from an interview. But having said that, I felt completely alone. I felt upset because I never imagined this is what I may have to face. But I will never back away. I will never let anyone – man or woman – take me down. Also, if I walked away, I would prove every doubt he raised about me. I was never going to let him do that.”

4. Or the day she shamed CPI leader, Atul Anjan and Ex-DCW chief, Barkha Singh for holding her condom ads responsible for rapes!

5. My favourite is the time she combined forces with other powerful women to shut down body shamers.

“I’ve embraced my body the way it is and I choose to be on camera that way.”

6. The time she decided to give a publication a piece of her mind.

7. The time she gave RGV a golden counsel in return of his women’s day special tweet.

We are in awe, Sunny! Never change. Please?
