India is a country that has a rich culture and heritage but it often fights with stereotypes that oversimplify its complexity. A lot of foreigners seem to think that ours is a land of snake charmers, poverty, and homogeneity. But while India has its own set of problems (there is no denying that) it is essential to recognize India’s multifaceted reality and appreciate it without succumbing to generalizations.
