IPL 2019 has seen some thumping victories, crushing defeats (read: Royal Challengers Bangalore) and some truly exciting cricket. The sporting extravaganza has also been mired in the ‘Mankading’ controversy and given birth to a spate of hilarious memes.
Last night’s match at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens was Kolkata Knight Riders vs Delhi Capitals and it was nothing short of incredible. We got to see Andre Russell’s sixes and Shikhar Dhawan’s unbeaten 97 off 63 balls.
DC successfully chased KKR’s score of 178 with 7 wickets to spare.

But it was KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan’s sweet message for ‘dada’ Sourav Ganguly that won everyone over. Despite their loss, his tweet reflected the true spirit of the game by gracefully accepting defeat and speaking highly of the winning side.

For the uninitiated, Sourav Ganguly was earlier associated with Kolkata Knight Riders. Later, he moved to the Pune Warriors franchise and now he’s the advisor for Delhi Capitals.
The tweeple couldn’t get enough of King Khan’s humility and praised him for his big heart.
