B-Town actor Sonu Sood has been doing an exemplary job by sending stranded migrant workers and those less privileged back to their homes safely amid the coronavirus pandemic.
And ever since he flagged the “Ghar Bhejo” initiative, people have been tweeting him for help. The ‘Simmba’ actor has also released helpline numbers for stranded people, reports NDTV. The actor said that he didn’t want to miss out on people who need his help, hence he opened this call centre.
India Today quoted him saying, “I was getting a lot of calls, thousands of calls every day. My family and friends were busy collecting the data then we realised we might miss out on a lot of people who we will not be able to approach us. So we decided to open this call centre, it is a toll-free number,” Sood said.

He has been receiving incessant messages from people stuck in different parts of the country, reports News18. Sonu also took to Twitter and shared that he and his team are trying their best to help everyone. He also shared a video showing the overwhelming response on his helpline number.
The ‘Dabangg’ actor said that he aims to help as many people as possible. “We have a dedicated team working on it, trying to reach out to maximum people and contact each and every person. We don’t know how many people we will be able to help but we will try,” he added.

The actor who is often seen playing the role of villains on-screen is an inspiring hero in real life. Thank you, sir, for showing such compassion towards the people in need and setting up such a positive example in such difficult times.
