Love it or hate it but you can’t kickstart Diwali celebrations without the mention of our quintessential desi mithai, The Soan Papdi. The moment we see Soan Papdi memes floating on the internet we realize that it’s that time of the year.
It’s that time when a box of this inexpensive sweet will visit the homes of our relatives and neighbors more than we’ve ever personally visited them. While we giggle and laugh at the expense of this dessert, there are some who actually open a pack of this light-as-air sweet and devour it with love. Yes, on unpopular opinion, people who like Soan Papdi do exist.
Expressing his love for it, a Twitter user penned how the sweet is great on several levels and doesn’t deserve the beizzatti it goes through every year.
Unpopular opinion: Soan Papdi is actually great & doesn’t deserve this beizzatti it goes through every year🌝

This Diwali let’s give our very consistent, inexpensive, and light desi sweet the respect it deserves and actually enjoy the packet and save it from expiring, like always.
