Skoda Owners Came Together To Create Beautiful ‘Light Painting’ As A Tribute To India’s Progress

If you’ve been following photographers on Facebook or Instagram, you must have definitely come across ‘light paintings’.

Ever saw someone share a photograph with a globe made of only light trails? Or write a name using sparklers? Or a cityscape where car lights leave colourful trails on the road? I’m sure you have. These are called ‘light paintings’.

Skoda decided to do something creative with it. So they teamed up with ‘Slice of light’, comprising of Shobhit Tiwari, Dr. Satwik Sharma & Jeswin Rebello, a Guinness World Record light painting team and a few inquisitive Octavia owners to pay a never-seen-before tribute to India’s progress: a painting depicting iconic Indian structures in light, right from historic structure like the Qutub Minar to the modern Bandra-Worli sealink.

Let’s admit it – when art meets technology, the result is almost always magical.

Happy Independence Day!
