Siddhant Chaturvedi who rose to fame with the role of MC Sher in the movie ‘Gully Boy’ offered a heartfelt tribute to Sushant Singh Rajput by sharing a rare throwback video. In earlier interviews, Siddhant had revealed that he was studying to become a chartered accountant (CA) like his father, but changed plans to pursue an acting career instead.
But little did we know that a momentary celebratory dance with Sushant Singh Rajput was instrumental in receiving his parent’s approval.
Siddhant reveals how he entered & won a National Talent Hunt contest while still studying for CA. When he won, it was Sushant who announced Siddhant’s name and did a little celebratory dance together. Siddhant recollects,
“Jeeta Main, Nache Hum dono.”
Siddhant further reveals how he and his family were over the moon; his confidence skyrocketed. And ‘Mummy Papa’ finally saw a acting spark in him for the first time. They apparently gave their blessings,
“CA choro beta, Hero bante hain! Permission mil gai.”
He ends his caption with a heartfelt tribute to Sushant by attributing sleepless nights in recent times to the SSR death incident; often wondering if he should share this video on social media or not.
“Phir socha Dono Bhai Todd ke naache hain
Share karna toh banta hai guru!”
