Ever since businessman Raj Kundra was arrested in a pornography production case, wife and actress Shilpa Shetty has remained tight-lipped about the incident. She did move Bombay High Court seeking an injunction against defamatory media reports against her that she claimed brought her disrepute.
However, she has now broken her silence and issued an official statement stating that she will refrain from commenting on the matter as it is under police investigation. She reiterated her mantra in the tweet, stating “Never complain, never explain.”
She further urged the public not to troll her or her loved ones and stated that she doesn’t deserve a media trial. One of the key facets of her statement is her plea for privacy for the sake of her children.
