“She Should Just Keep Her Mouth Shut,” After KJo’s Remark, Shekhar Suman Slams Kangana AGAIN

Kangana Ranaut has not been in the news for good reasons lately. The three-time national award-winning actress got into an ugly spat with Karan Johar following her ‘nepotism’ remark on the director’s chat show, ‘Koffee With Karan’. While Karan hit back at her for playing the victim card and asked her to leave the industry, Kangana too came back with a savage reply for him.

As the fight seems to be getting longer and uglier as each day passes, Shekhar Suman has added fuel to the fire by joining on the ‘slam-Kangana brigade’. Shekhar, who allegedly called Kangana a ‘cocained actress’ and was later joined by his son, Adhyayaen’s ‘sinking titanic‘ remark, has now asked Kangana to keep her mouth shut.

In a recent interview with Bollywood Life, Shekhar Suman was asked to comment on the recent Kangana- Karan fiasco, to which he said,

“She should just keep her mouth shut, and let her work speak for herself. If you are a failure then you should have a dignity to come forward and say I have failed miserably. You don’t always have to shout on the rooftop and say what you have done. The best thing is to just be and keep your mouth shut.”

 

Shekhar further slammed her for playing the woman card selectively and at her own convenience.

“I don’t like these weeping women and women who cry to everyone claiming that they were victimised, traumatised, agonised and all that. Otherwise, when you are talking about equality, everybody is in the same line. But some women save their cards conveniently. You become a woman and a man according to your convenience. You say that you are the hero of the film and not the heroine.”

 

He even went on to slam the practice of mustering support from social media, calling it ‘fake feminism’.

“It is quite irritating to see these blubbering women who get all the support in the world from the internet. This is manufactured and fake feminism and beyond a point it is irritating. These women talk about their achievements and struggles, what the hell everyone is an achiever here.”
