After establishing himself as one of the finest modern-day actors, Shahid Kapoor is all set to amaze us with his next movie, ‘Rangoon’. The movie is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, with whom Shahid has worked a number of times before. However, this is the first time that Shahid is sharing the screen with Saif and the actor recently broke his silence on the matter.
In a recent interview, speaking of his upcoming film, ‘Rangoon’, Shahid Kapoor opened up about the rumours of him and Saif Ali Khan having an awkward time working together.
“You expect these kinds of reactions. It’s natural for such things to come up. I am just happy, because he is a really cool guy, and I didn’t have any issues working with him. He seemed chilled out. We had a good time because essentially this is what you need to make a good film. You need to go through a collaborative process to make it work.”
Speaking of the pain of being away from his baby girl, Misha, Shahid said that he tries to spend as much time as possible with her.
“I wake up early and spend some time with her, and if I can, I try to get back home before she goes to sleep.”
After working for over a decade in Bollywood in some of the finest movies of modern times, Shahid said that he still gets nervous before the release of a film.
“I don’t think that feeling of having butterflies in the stomach, especially during the last few days of promotions, will ever go away. Because it’s that kind of a job wherein you can never say how people will feel (about the film).”
Hope to see another masterpiece from Shahid. Can’t wait anymore for the movie to release.
