Virender Sehwag by far is the only cricketing star who has displayed his power and prowess both on and off the field. The former Indian batsman, however, is a bigger Twitter star giving Twitterati their field day (read: his legen-wait-for-it-dary birthday tweets) more than often.
Although, Sehwag’s most liked and retweeted tweets are from the time when he smashed British TV personality, Piers Morgan after the former trolled India’s celebration at winning Silver and Bronze by P.V. Sindhu and Sakshi Malik respectively at the Rio Olympics. However, the hatchet seemed to have been buried.
After ringing in the New Year, Sehwag took to Twitter to ask fans and followers for their moments of joy with him.
Tweet the best moments you had with me this year. How did I contribute to joy in your life ?

And guess who had something to be thankful about? That’s right, Piers Morgan!
You got me trending in India for days & 1000s of new followers. Thanks mate. https://t.co/yc4bhL1Hwc

Being the ‘bade dilwala’ he is, Sehwag also ditched the duel and reminded Piers’s of the generosity, India believes in.Â
Cheers! India has a big heart .

After all, all is well that ends well. Isn’t it?! Also, HNY! 🙂
