Several states including Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Delhi have relaxed the lockdown norms with ‘Unlock 1.0’ and salons are instructed to operate while following certain preventive measures. In Bhopal, the salon staff can be seen wearing PPE kits while catering to their clients, reported Times Of India.

In Gujarat, customers have to take an appointment before visiting salons.

They are also made to sit on alternate chairs amid coronavirus pandemic, reported Republic World.

In Tamil Nadu, the state government has also asked beauty parlours and salons to collect details of customers including their Aadhaar number, phone number and address, reported India Today.
