RPF Personnel Risks His Life To Save A 5-YO From Being Crushed By A Train, Act Caught On Cam

India’s armed forces on land, sea and air are full of heroes. They bravely protect our borders and are handsomely awarded by our nation’s President & Prime Minister. However, there are many such soldiers whose efforts are overlooked and often times forgotten. They do their job without drawing any attention to them even when they’re off duty. One such hero, a RPF personnel, was noticed at a Mumbai Railway Station, saving a 5-year-old toddler’s life.

In a CCTV footage captured at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Railway Station, a little girl can be seen trying to board the train. However, as the train was moving, she slipped and was about to go under the train, if it wasn’t for a brave RPF personnel.

According to Mirror Now, the family to whom this toddler belonged, were visiting the Haji Ali area and were on their way back to Bhiwandi. And when they were about to board the train at Mahalaxmi Station, the 5-year-old kid got left behind and came this close to dying.

Thankfully, Sachin Pol, the RPF personnel was also there and was about to board his train when he saw the toddler being dragged away by the train. Without thinking twice he jumped into action. Although he suffered minor injuries, he managed to save the kid’s life.

Accidents like these happen within seconds and normal folk like us aren’t usually able to react in time. However, due to his training or just natural reflexes, this RPF personnel was able to keep his cool and save a life. While we and the family of this toddler should be thanking him for this miracle, the railway officials must take measures to increase security & make sure situations like these never happen again.
