The relationship between celebrities and the paparazzi is a symbiotic one, especially here in India. The paparazzi play a huge role in keeping celebrities relevant and in the news. Be it airport looks or pictures of their kids, candid moments or a night out, paparazzi are responsible for giving fans a peek into the lives of their beloved celebrities. They can make and break careers, to be honest.
Hence, it is expected that celebrities would treat them with an equal amount of respect and love. Of course, there are going to be downsides of it sometimes. There have been instances where certain members of the paparazzi have violated the privacy of certain celebrities. But that doesn’t mean that all of them must be shunned. Sadly, a lot of our celebrities tend to treat paparazzi disrespectfully.
However, Rihanna is different. She was in India to perform for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities and before she left, she was kind enough to very lovingly take pictures and videos with the paparazzi and the police. This has won the hearts of innumerable people online.
