“I’m Not Going To Work,” Announces News Reporter After Winning Lottery On Live TV

Live reporting can be quite demanding and exhausting. Imagine being caught on camera while styling your hair with spit or while contacting a dead man for comments. It would be really embarrassing, wouldn’t it?

However, things turned in favor of a TV presenter when she was announcing the winners for a Spanish lottery. Natalia Escudero, a reporter for RTVE, was in the middle of a live broadcast when she found out she was one of the winners for the annual Christmas lottery, reports Times Now.

The draw for the lottery was held at the Teator Real de Madrid, where Natalia was covering news of the winners. According to The Sun, she celebrated her win and told the camera,

“Hey, I have a tenth, that this is no joke, that I do many events. When I came here I bought one. Tomorrow I don’t go. I don’t work tomorrow.”

All the euphoric winners including Natalia burst into celebrations and danced with joy. Although Natalia didn’t win the 1st prize, she bagged a handsome sum of 5,000 euros (Rs.38 lakh approximately). Congratulations to the lucky winner!
