Delhi Man Tries To Kill The Husband Of A Woman He Stalked For Years, Full-On ‘Darr’ Style!

Real-Life-Darr

Bollywood remains one of the major influencers and we often tend to take a page out of the Bollywood diary and add it to our real lives. But not in an inharmonious way. Yet sometimes, the stories painted on the celluloid also inspire people to a lot of bad things. Like, this Delhi man did.

Vivek Kumar Aggarwal is the real-life embodiment of Darr‘s Rahul Mehra. He not only stalked his K..K…K…Kiran (identity of the woman not revealed), but he also tried to kill the Sunil (woman’s husband) in the story.

Filmy, much? Too damn much!

So here’s the low down of the story. 37-year-old Delhi resident, Vivek, fell in love with a woman back in 2012, minutes after laying eyes on her. He, a property dealer, saw the woman at a real estate firm, where she worked and started following. Every where she went, he was stalking her. He even tried initiating friendship with her via calls and messages. But, she didn’t reciprocate even a teenie-tiny bit. Nor did she know his identity, because he never revealed it.

After she got married, Vivek was left heartbroken. He thought to himself that if he got rid of the husband, then he had chances of attaining her affections and marrying her. So, he made two attempts to kill the husband.

The first one on February 4, caused no harm to husband and he had a narrow escape with the bullet Vivek fired at him. They didn’t file a complaint back then because they were not sure if he was indeed the attacker’s target.

On April 20, the woman and the husband were riding a bike, when a bullet hit the husband’s shoulder. Deputy Commissioner of Police, Rohini District, Rishipal said that the case was registered at Vijay Vihar Police Station and Aggarwal was identified as the attacker. He was arrested from his Budh Vihar home.

In the investigation, Aggarwal confessed being a Shah Rukh Khan fan and said that he got the idea from his film Darr. That’s not the only filmy angle. Like, Rahul in the film tried to throw off the Police by staging Vicky being the stalker; Aggarwal too did something similar.

Only difference being, he dropped a letter at the woman’s parental house in Rohini stating that he is the sister of the woman her husband impregnated. The DCP said,

“In the letter, he wrote that the woman’s husband had destroyed his (fictitious) sister’s life by getting her pregnant. Aggarwal’s objective behind sending the letter was to ruin the woman’s married life by creating a suspicion against her husband in her parents’ minds. He thought that after reading the letter, the woman and her parents will file for a divorce, and after the divorce, he could approach her with his proposal.”

Aggarwal even claimed her to be his dream girl and said he had seen her in his dreams even before he saw her.

“During the interrogation, Aggarwal claimed that he had been seeing the woman in his dreams since 2008-09. And when he first saw her in 2012, he straightway believed that she was his dreamgirl.”

Dayam! Such a creepy story man. And, that just happened in real life.
