Bengaluru Man Realises His Neighbour Is The Founder Of Rapido After He Asked For A Ladder

Not just the silicon valley of India, Bengaluru was also the start-up capital of the country before Delhi beat it recently. However, it still houses the founders and offices of many Indian start-ups. And since the tech-savvy city is home to many entrepreneurs, there can be chances that you might bump into some CEOs and founders while taking a ride on the metro or chilling at a rooftop lounge.

Recently, a guy on LinkedIn shared his interesting chat with the founder of Rapido, India’s largest bike taxi app. Akashlal Bathe didn’t know that he lived next to one of the three founders (Aravind Sanka, Pavan Guntupalli, and SR Rishikesh) of the company until he texted a random guy in his society group who wanted a ladder.

When he checked his profile with the status as ‘Rapido’, the curious Bathe asked the guy on the other side what was the deal with him and Rapido. That’s when his neighbour informed him that he was the founder of Rapido.

As informed to the guy, Bathe quickly took screengrabs of his conversation with the founder and shared it on LinkedIn for people to react. This is what people had to say about his encounter:

All of us are doing it wrong. We should immediately move to Bengaluru, keep a ladder handy and start checking people’s status and stories. LOL!
