Ranvir Shorey Raising Their Son While Konkona Works Is Exactly What The Society Needs To Hear!

Women have come a long way. They have conquered the Everest, been to space, have ruled the world and at the same time have been kind, caring and maternal. While the journey to the top is never easy, women in every sphere have taught us only one thing – never to back down.

As women put their foot down and shatter glass-ceilings in one blow, why not men step out of their stereotypes and do something they aren’t ‘supposed’ to do!

Actor Ranvir Shorey is first in line! Ranvir and Konkona tied the knot in 2010 and it’s been three years since their separation. Like any couple, they have bad days but there is still one person they love more than anything the world – their 6-year-old boy, Haroon.

 “We have been separated since the last three years. The paperwork on the divorce is not done yet. We are not in a rush.”

 

Speaking about working the differences and dedicating all their time and love to being parents, Ranvir said that he came up with the idea of two homes for Haroon. Half the time he spends with his mother, other with his dad! He says,

 

He also says that he is in love with his new routine. He likes doing things for his son, they go to the park together, do homework, study and have lots of fun. He even cooks for him. Ranvir says that fatherhood has changed him as a man.

 

“I’m more patient and my cooking has improved too. Now, Haroon likes what I cook more than what he gets at Konkona’s. I cook my specialities for him.”

 

He agrees that things aren’t great between him and Konkona but they do get out together for a meal with Haroon and try to make ends meet to give their child a normal upbringing. Since birth, he has been their number one priority!

And that’s how you do it! Ranvir and Konkona are setting parenting goals for the world to follow. Their love for their kid has transformed them into different individuals.
