Ever since the trailer of Hollywood director Michael Winterbottom’s upcoming film ‘The Wedding Guest‘ dropped in February, we’ve been eagerly waiting for it to release. The thriller looks like a nail biter and more importantly stars some of the most talented names in the industry namely, Radhika Apte, Dev Patel and Jim Sarbh.
Unfortunately, an intimate scene of the movie featuring the lead pair has leaked recently. The 2-minute long video and its screenshots are doing the rounds online.
The actress is very upset with this development and has slammed the mentality of people who are sharing the scene under her name. She was quoted by NDTV saying,
“The film ‘The Wedding Guest’ has many other beautiful sequences and the fact that one particular sex scene got leaked because of the psychotic mentality of the society.”
She further added, “The leaked sex scene featured both Radhika Apte and Dev Patel in it. But the scenes are being spread in my name. Why the pictures are not getting spread under the male actor Dev Patel’s name?”
Apart from working in path-breaking films like Andhadhum and Padman, Radhika has always been upfront about issues like nepotism and the pay disparity in Bollywood. We sincerely hope that such incidents are not repeated in the future and netizens heed her words.
