Radhika Apte Travels To London Amid Coronavirus Fears; Shares Immigration Experience

‘PadMan’ actor Radhika Apte is often seen juggling her time between India and the UK for work commitments and also to spend time with her husband, Benedict Taylor. Recently, the 34-year-old ‘Sacred Games’ actor flew to London. And since people worldwide have been advised to stay at home amidst coronavirus scare, it is very obvious for Radhika’s friends and family to be worried about her safety.

Hence, Radhika took to social media and gave her friends and colleagues an update about her health and safety, reported NDTV. She also shared her experience of going through immigration at London’s Heathrow Airport.

In her IG post, Radhika said that she’s safely reached London and didn’t face any issue at immigration. In fact, it was rather empty and she even had a wonderful chat with them. She added that the Heathrow express was literally empty and there’s barely anyone at Paddington.

However, she highlighted the fact that her flight from India was full, though two days ago when she went to India from London it was empty. Addressing the issue of the UK closing borders, she said that the immigration officers had no information to share regarding this.

Radhika also posted a picture in which she stated that her social distancing starts from today.

In such an unpredictable situation, we really urge everyone to practise social distancing and also home quarantine, if need be. It is also crucial to adhere to all the precautions issued by the Ministry of Health. It’s always better to be safe than sorry!
