Godwin was enjoying a pleasant weekend in her neighborhood with her two golden retrievers on Sunday morning. She even posted a live video on Facebook sharing about her walk and wishing everyone a happy day.

Tragedy struck when Paula was walking down the hill and almost stepped onto a rattlesnake. However, her 6-months-old puppy, Todd, came to her rescue by jumping in front of her feet and saving Godwin from a potential snake bite. Unfortunately, Todd was bitten by the snake on the nose in the process. Paula took to Facebook to share the incident and pictures of her “hero” Todd.
