Man Arranges ‘Princess & The Frog’ Themed Marriage Proposal For Girlfriend, Watch Video

Who doesn’t want to get proposed to in a memorable way? I blame films and books for hyping marriage proposals so much that we expect it to be nothing less than GRAND. Especially if you are someone who has grown up reading fairytales, you’d understand people’s obsession with a fairytale-like wedding proposal!

And one couple did get a chance to live a fairytale! Meet Denise – a woman from Idaho, United States, who recently got proposed to by her boyfriend in a gorgeous fairytale-like setting! The guy, Blaze, arranged for a ‘Princess and the Frog’ themed marriage proposal for her.

Denise works at a local party company where she is asked to make an appearance at events dressed as Disney Princess Tiana from ‘The Princess and the Frog’. She claimed that her “grace and radiant smile” made her the “perfect” Tiana and that she is in constant demand.

Blaze, on the other hand, is a “true gentleman” and a “real-life prince”. He is loyal, kind, and loves to attend events where Denise is present looking like a princess.

Denise took to Facebook to narrate the entire incident:

“Prior to THE DAY Blaze spent weeks making sure everything up to the moment would be perfect. He went to Denise’s parents, abiding by their cultural traditions, discussed the engagement and received their blessings. They couldn’t be happier to add him to the family. Calling up his sister, they ran through placement, his outfit and timing for the engagement. He anxiously waited to ask his princess to become his queen.”

She went on to add:

“Denise got ‘the call’ from her soon to be sister-in-law (Megan) that Princess Tiana had been specially requested as a surprise for a little girls birthday party at the Village in Meridian.”

This part makes me tear up!

“As they arrive at the village Denise instantly gets into character, gliding towards the party, posing for photographs with the birthday girl. She is asked to sit down and read them The Princess and the Frog story. She fumbles through the book and finds her story but the first page is a little different than she remembers. Written in sharpie, a special note was left just for her. ‘Every Princess needs a Prince, will you be mine forever?’ – Blaze.”

A happy ending to the story!

“Shocked, Denise turned around to see Blaze, looking like a real prince, waiting for her! He walked her to the front of the fountain got down on one knee and asked her to marry him! Yes was the answer! He slips the ring on her finger as she wipes away her tears. They turned to see all their family & friends gathered in front of them screaming and shouting their congratulations. As Blaze perfectly timed it, the hourly water fountain show came on and they danced to Michael Bublè, while their family and friends cried hysterically.”
