On February 5, Buckingham Palace announced that King Charles had been diagnosed with a “form of cancer” which was discovered during his recent treatment. Prior to this, it was revealed that the King would be in the hospital for treatment for an enlarged prostate. The palace didn’t reveal what kind of cancer it was but claimed that it was not of the prostrate and that the king was receiving regular treatment.

After the shocking diagnosis of his father, Prince Harry arrived in London to meet him. Harry has been estranged from the royal family ever since he and his wife Meghan Markle resigned from their roles as working royals in 2020 and moved to the United States. According to Vanity Fair, Prince Harry hopped on a plane and arrived at Clarence House, the King’s London residence.

He reportedly spent 45 minutes with his father and opted to stay in a hotel later instead of staying within the royal premises.
