2018 was jam-packed with celebrity weddings. Some of the biggest names in B-town tied the knot last year. But 2019 isn’t far behind. Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s nuptials on March 9 promise to be a grand affair. Meanwhile, another couple is getting ready to walk down the aisle.
And that is Pooja Bedi and Maneck Contractor. Don’t they look amazing together?
The couple made it official on Valentine’s day when Maneck went down on one knee in a hot air balloon.

In an interview with Bombay Times, Pooja revealed that the two had met each other in boarding school. Maneck was her senior but they had many common friends. More recently, she went to Goa to review a venture he was heading and that’s where sparks flew. Speaking about their relationship, she said,
“The beauty of our relationship is that it has been effortless in every way. Our families have merged beautifully. He has a wonderful open-hearted, jovial, Parsi family, who welcomed me. My kids, too, adore him.”
Their engagement ceremony happened in The Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipur. Here’s the first picture from the event.
