The 61-year-old from Kerala served as a cop in Bahrain, a country in the middle east, for nearly 9 years before coming to India. However, he turned into a professional car thief to earn quick money after his son was detected with cancer, reported Times Now.

However, he couldn’t hide from the cops and was arrested in 2008 by the Ashoknagar police. But he managed to get himself out of prison after obtaining bail back then.

But the arrest didn’t stop him from committing the crimes. Recently, the man was again caught, the second time in 14 years, by the Byatarayanapura police station on charges of lifting an SUV from a service center. The cops were also able to recover two bikes lifted from the limits of the High Ground police station from him. After stealing vehicles, he made their fake documents and sold them off in the market, read a report by Bangalore Mirror.

It was during his interrogation that the former cop revealed that he took the high way and started committing crimes to make money for his ailing son. The police also informed that he is also involved in lifting vehicles from various parts of Bengaluru city and Kerala.

Despite whatever is happening in his life, the man could have chosen a rightful path to earn money. Him turning into a criminal has made things worse for his family. Don’t you think?
