Watch Paul Pogba’s Electrifying Speech Before The World Cup Final That Pushed Them To Victory

When the French team stepped on to the pitch at the Luzhniki stadium on 15th of July, they had only one thing in mind. And that is, to be the champions of the world. With a bunch of extraordinarily talented youngsters, the Les Bleus went out in the middle, put up a phenomenal display of football and successfully added the second star to the iconic French jersey.

While a lion’s share of credit goes to coach Didier Deschamps for uniting a young bunch of boys and turning them into a raging ball of fire, the pre-match speech by Paul Pogba was the ideal kick they needed.

25-year-old Paul Pogba’s thrilling expression of words was nothing short of a movie scene which set the mood in the French dressing room.

“I don’t know how many matches we have played in our careers but this is the match which changes everything. That changes all of history.”

The Manchester United superstar chose to talk about the agony of the past, the glorious future ahead. He also highlighted that the prestigious trophy, which is a gift of a lifetime, is almost theirs, but not yet.

“There are two teams and there’s one trophy. For them, it’s the same. They want it. But today we will not let another team take what is ours.”

The intention was clear. He wanted to make this a day to cherish for the lifetime. A day to mark their footballing careers. He made the rest of the team aware of the golden opportunity they had to leave their footprints in the sands of time.

“I want this evening to be in the memory of all the French people who are watching us. Their children, their children’s children, and their children’s children’s children. And want us to go on the pitch as leaders and warriors.”
