Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ engagement has put us Indians in that jovial, pre-wedding enthusiasm mood.
Ever since we found out that Nick Jonas was going to be our jijaji, there have been speculations about whether there was going to be a fancy Hollywood wedding or a desi Punjabi one! And if it is the latter, what is it going to be like?
But one of the more hilarious yet totally legit questions was if Priyanka Chopra’s cousin sis, Parineeti Chopra, would be stealing her Nick Jiju’s jootas, as is the tradition!

Of course, this Jonas has his own band of bros to safeguard his shoes from Pari’s clutches! They’ve also got Sophie Turner aka Sansa Stark on their team, which means a nice GOT-level strategy could also be put in place to make sure the ladkiwalas don’t get their hands on the precious Iron Throne jootas!
Thankfully, looks like all our speculation comes to an end, because we finally have an answer!
Journo Faridoon Shahryar managed to take this burning fan question straight to Parineeti Chopra on Twitter, and asked her if the joota-churaai rasam was going down or what!
