Bihar MP Pappu Yadav Manhandles And Misbehaves With Jet Airways Flight Attendant

Bihar MP Rajesh Ranjan, popularly known as Pappu Yadav, misbehaved with an air hostess on board a Jet Airways Patna-Delhi flight on Tuesday. Things got so out of hand that the captain of the flight had to opt for priority landing in Delhi airport as well as ask for the presence of security at the arrival gate.

Yadav, who was recently expelled from the RJD party, reportedly refused to put his seat in upright position and switch off his cell phone, general safety measures taken in flights, despite being asked repeatedly by the cabin crew. Instead he threatened the crew to beat her with his ‘chappal’.

The flight attendant has given a written complaint to the airlines that claims,”While having lunch on the flight, 1A (Pappu’s seat number) dropped the dessert on his bag kept near his feet and asked the crew to clean it. (He) told the crew MPs don’t do this work. 1A took off his chappal and showed it (to) the crew. Told the crew he would hit them with it if the crew told him anything,”.

The harassed flight attendant complained to the captain, who alerted Delhi air traffic control about an unruly passenger on board and sought for priority landing and security personnel to be present upon the arrival of the plane. “This is shameful and if a VIP manhandles our crew and gets away free of any charge,” his note along with the written complaint says.

On his part, Pappu Yadav, in the manner of a copybook politician, has denied all allegations against him, saying, “Complaint thane mein kyon nahin ki? Hamara koi matter nahin hai.”

According to the news source, a police complaint is yet to be filed, which, considering Yadav’s political power, the crew might be afraid of doing.

Indeed, “mere Bharat ke politicans mahan”!
