Most of the times, when someone does something bad to us or the ones we loved, we let go of the matter instead of seeking revenge. We console ourselves or others by proclaiming our belief in karma and how they’ll pay for it. In all honesty, more often than not, we say that because there’s nothing we can practically do to get back at them.
But they don’t call karma a bitch for no reason, right? Karma unfolds itself in the most glorious ways, at the perfect time, every time. Sometimes it’s instant, sometimes it’s delayed. But it always does its job well. And if you’re lucky enough, you get to witness the complete show in action.
Before you start raving about how I’m wrong and you need to take matters into your own hands or something, here’s proof of what I’m saying.
A shameless woman tried stealing freshly delivered packages from someone’s doorstep while her co-thief waited in the car. She picked up three packages and started making her way back to the car.
Boom! Enters Karma. And as she would have it, the woman slipped on the supposedly wet grass and fell, injuring herself in the process.
The extent of her injuries are unknown, but she’s clearly suffering a lot of pain. The co-thief came to help her up but had to pick her up and carry her to the car because she was clearly unable to walk.
Although they managed to steal the packages anyhow, karma did its job. Now it’s time for the police to get hold of these thieves and do their jobs as well.
This is still a really small example of the ways in which karma works, but you get the point, right?
