These 50 Pictures Of The North East Will Give You Travel Goals You Haven’t Even Dreamt Of

The Seven Sisters.

How many of us venture to the far east? How many of us know how beautiful it is? The dainty wilderness of the seven states is almost untouched and is waiting for us to explore…

These pictures uploaded on the Instagram handle, northeast_india are so surreal that for a moment you feel you are standing right where the photographer was. I had the good fortune of living there for three years as a kid and it stills remains as a fairytale destination in my memories. Take a look at these pictures and tell me you don’t want to go there.

I dare you.

regram @apertureadventures One of those many hanging bridges in Central Arunachal Pradesh, this one connects villages Zudo and Tuting. This bridge is the only option of commuting with rest of the world for the tribesmen at village Zudo, bridge is around 200 odd metre long and approximately at a height of 300 feet over Siang river flowing down in its full force and glory. Even a slightest gust of wind oscillates the whole bridge; Scary! To make it even interesting the winter morning mist makes the bridge slippery and the nippy morning air makes those iron suspension chords freezing cold; complicating the task of holding on to them for suppport. People often cross such bridges with heavy loads on their backs but it just doesn't stop there, local people also cross such bridges along with their motorcycles, for me crossing it on my foot was adventurous enough. #Tripping #Arunachal #backpacking #travel #northeastindia #indiaclicks #INDIA_CLICKS #GLOBAL_CLICKS #arunachalpradesh #northeast #travel #traveller #india #lonelyplanet #lonelyplanetindia #incredibleindia #photooftheday #natgeo #sevensisters #7sisters #hangingbridge #rural #nature #naturelover #nature_perfection #pradesh #unexplored #paradise

I was also like most of the rest of the country that didn't know anything about the Northeast India but my visit to Sikkim last year changed everything. I met really beautiful people and lived some really serene places. Ever since then there has been no looking back. I would do two states this year and would love to share my experience with all of you. I believe it is really important to let the rest of the country know about the beautiful landscape and people of the Northeast. ~ @shyamqumar Bomdila, Arunachal Pradesh Photo By: @smiling_boy3152 #bomdila #arunachalpradesh #Arunachal #Pradesh #backpacker #backpacking #road #roadtrip #narure_lust #sky_porn #northeastindia #india #sevensisters #unexploredparadise #nature #traveller #wilderness #nakedplanet #naturelover #nature_perfection #lonelyplanetindia #lonelyplanet #tourism #incredibleindia

Good morning! Madhuri Lake, Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. Formed as a result of an earthquake, this water body is crystal clear and reflects the color of the blue sky. Numerous dead tree trunks, which once were alive (before the earthquake) emerges from the blue water of the lake creating a strange yet beautiful imagery before visitors. One can stroll around the lake with their families and enjoy the natural beauty of the place.
