Female NEET Aspirants Made To Remove Their Bras Before Entering The Exam Hall, Sparks Outrage

It has been reported that while appearing for several schools and competitive examinations, the aspirants have come up with weird and mindboggling ways of cheating.

From hiding a high-tech device inside wig, to owning ‘Bluetooth Slippers’, a lot and more have been done to pass the examinations using unfair means.

Hence, to prevent this from happening, examination centers have up their security and scrutiny game. But this time around, they went far beyond their boundary when they allegedly asked female National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) aspirants to remove their bras in Kerala’s Kollam before entering the exam hall, reported The Indian Express.

This shocking incident came to light when the dad of one of the aspirants complained about this horrifying act to the local police. The father alleged that several students who appeared for the exam earlier this week at Mar Thoma Institute of Information and Technology at Ayur in Kollam were forced to remove their innerwear.

“Many students, including my daughter, could not write the exam with confidence after months or years of preparation due to the perverted approach of a few persons,” the girl’s father said.

“The thought that they don’t have innerwear while sitting in a hall where boys were also writing the exam, made the girls uncomfortable. Many girls said they could not concentrate on the exam. This was cruel.”

Soon after the complaint was lodged, the representative of the said institute said that they weren’t involved in this incident as the National Testing Agency (NTA) representatives were frisking the candidates.

The NTA, in a statement, said, “All three (the exam center’s superintendent, its independent observer, and the city coordinator), among other things, have stated that they did not find any such incident happening in the center. The candidate did take the examination. There was no representation/ complaint to anyone during or immediately after the examination. Nor has NTA received any email/ complaint in this regard.”

“The dress code provides for ensuring the sanctity and fairness of conducting the examination while observing sensitivity towards the gender/ religious/ cultural/ regional sensitivities involved in frisking/ biometric of candidates.”

After the news made headlines, people went to social media to share their two cents on the matter.

Clearly, people are losing their minds!
